To All Participants of WSDN2024

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who participated in the 8th World Society of Disaster Nursing (WSDN) International Conference. This year’s conference brought together over 400 participants from 14 regions and countries, creating a rich exchange of international knowledge and diverse perspectives. Under the theme “Rethinking Disaster Nursing in a Changing Risk Environment,” the conference provided a platform to delve deeply into critical issues such as alignment with the Sendai Framework and SDGs, community care, inclusivity, data management, and visualization. Thanks to the valuable insights and recommendations shared by speakers and participants, we were able to outline concrete directions for the future development of disaster nursing.

Through interactive exhibits, workshops, and excursions, all attendees' collaboration and co-creation helped visualize global and transdisciplinary knowledge in nursing. These outcomes will undoubtedly play a crucial role in shaping disaster nursing practice and policies moving forward. This conference’s success would not have been possible without your active participation and support. We sincerely appreciate your contributions. As we strive toward a safer and more inclusive society, we hope to continue co-creating the future of disaster nursing with you. Let us build on the network and wisdom gained from this conference to create an even more sustainable and promising future. Once again, thank you to all participants for making this conference a success.
