To all presenters

◆ Presentation

All oral presentations will be delivered on computers provided at the venue.
- During the presentation, the presenter will hear bell rings indicating the time left.

◆ Each meeting room will be equipped with the following equipment:

-LCD Projector & Screen (aspect ratio 16:9)
-Laser pointer
-Notebook PC with Windows OS
-HDMI and VGA cables
-Microphone

◆ Notification of cancellation of presentation

If you suddenly need to be unable to attend your on-site presentation, please contact the email address listed below as soon as possible.
Please include the presenter's name, presentation number, presentation date, time, and venue in your email.

◆ The presentation data

For Oral presenters

Please use the data you submitted in advance.
We cannot accept data replacements after the submission deadline.
You will not be able to replace data at the venue on the day of the conference.

For Poster presenters

Please use the data you posted on the online conference site (ONLINE CONF).
Please check the data posted on the online conference site (ONLINE CONF) in advance and replace it yourself if necessary.
You will not be able to replace data at the venue on the day of the conference.

◆ Presentation Style

● Oral Presentation

Oral presentation sessions are live sessions of 60 minutes moderated by designated moderators. Each oral presentation is 7minutes, which may not be exceeded. There are 6 – 7 presentations in each oral session. Presenters are required to be physically present at the venue although the audience can participate online.

● Poster with lightning talk

Poster with Lightning Talk sessions take place at the Poster Presentation Area in the venue. Each presentation will be allocated 3 minutes to present their E-Poster. There are around 15 presentations in each session. Each session will be guided by one moderator. Presenters are required to be physically present and should be at the E-Poster Stations 10 minutes before the start of the session and remain there until the session has finished.

● Poster Viewing

Presenters allocated to Poster Viewing sessions will share their E-Posters on the conference website which will provide an opportunity for E-Poster presenters and other participants to exchange questions and comments from approximately two weeks before the Conference.

◆ Preparing for Presentation

⚫︎ For ALL Presenters

We request All presenters, regardless of presentation style, to create and submit a one-page E-Poster explaining the overview of your research/project. The submitted posters will be made available on the conference webpage for registered participants before the conference to encourage communication among participants.

[Guidelines for preparing E-Poster]

  • The E-Poster for each presentation is 1 Page only.
  • Create your document in PowerPoint Landscape Layout 16:9 and save it as a PDF file.
  • Use only standard OS fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier New or Georgia.
  • Font size: 11 point or larger
  • Language: English
  • Images(photos), tables and figures: Good picture quality is essential, at least 200 dpi.
  • Hyperlinks, animated images, animations and videos are not permitted.
  • QR Codes may be included but cannot link to any promotional or marketing materials.
  • Avoid overlapping objects and layers. Only final view/status will be visible.
  • File size: Less than 5MB

  • All oral presentations must be made on a PC using a Windows operating system.
  • Create presentation slides in PowerPoint, an aspect ratio of 16:9 (wide screen) will be recommended.
  • Use only standard OS fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier New or Georgia. · Language: English
  • You can use audio or video in your presentation. If you use video which is encoded with a specific data to be in WMV or MP4 format which can be played on Windows Media Player.
  • All data files should be in one folder, including any reference files such as video files, and submit them by email before the deadline.
  • For Mac Users: If your presentation file is made using Macintosh, please bring your own laptop with a VGA adapter or a HDMI adapter.

◆ Presenter registration

For Oral, Panel, Poster with Lightning Talk presenters
Please register at the "Moderator/Presenter Registration" (in front of Hall) one hour before the start of your presentation session.

※The purpose of this registration is to confirm the attendance of presenters.
※E-Poster Viewing presenters do not need to register at the venue.

The subject line of the email must be "Visa Application, Your Name". If the subject line is different, it will not be accepted.

  • Be a presenter of the WSDN2024
  • You must have registered for the WSDN2024 and paid the registration fee
  • The visa is valid for no more than 3 months from the date of issuance.

◆ Abstracts book

The conference online conference site will be provided to those who have registered to attend. Abstract books will be available for viewing and download on the site.

Wi-Fi access information will be provided at the reception. If a large number of people access the site at the same time at the venue, it may cause problems such as slow connection speeds, so please download the abstract books before coming to the venue.
